EXPENSIVE TICKET
The ticket rate has been tremendously gone up, unaffordable to the common man and his family. 15 years back it was cheaper than a normal meal at an ordinary restaurant.
o TECHNOLOGY
The man/machine made noisy alarming theatre atmosphere created by the ugly response of uncultured spectators and the thunderous digital sound system are equally disturbing, esp. the aged, women and children. The digital show, which is harmful to ear, heart and eyes is not as comfortable as the reel show is qualitatively superior. Movies lose their visual quality on digital chip projectors. In most of the theatres, it is DVD/LCD projector- shows and not celluloid film shows.
o CABLE TV & CDs Provide convenient and affordable/free entertainment to the family and prevent them from Cinemas.
